When the night falls and the melody kick in, the lights come on for me.

Blues de Medianoite moves to the rhythm of blues, plunging into the mystery and sensuality of the night. It draws us closer to Black heritage through movement, music, and instinct. It channels the call of the Earth, honoring the great women of blues and the rhythmic depth that comes straight from Africa—filtered through our own experience. This is MY blues.

A condensed version, adaptable to all kinds of spaces. Especially recommended for nighttime street performances, with the lighting design provided by the company. The piece takes us through the iconic blues imagery: the train, the crossroads, the club, the night… and shares stories from the lives and careers of blues women—often difficult paths filled with courage and deep love for music.

We also offer expanded programming options to go along with the show: workshops, artist talks, or DJ sessions such as “The Women of the Blues” by DJ Jas Processor.
