MONTE works to enhance the feminine stories of Cuba and Galicia, which are ancestrally united, and are rooted in respect for the land, for nature. They are intrinsically united by the migratory phenomenon, and full of stories, which well deserve to be told.
From dance, music and words, we find a woman who may well have lived the emigration back and forth. A strong and wise woman, who knows all the secrets of MONTE and comes from the sea. She knows all the herbs, all the legends and potions, and maintains a strong connection with the land, with the drums,
with the voice and the key. Who is OWURO?
